LONDON'S BEST CHINESE RESTAURANTS

Our Brixton restaurant has been awarded the title of one of ‘London’s best Chinese Restaurants’ in Timeout’s 2023 round up.

The author, Elaine Zhao, a long-standing fan of our Liverpool Street site shared her excitement about our expansion to Brixton Village:

“…after countless times queuing around the block for the Cantonese roast meats at Three Uncles’ takeout-only joint in Liverpool Street, the opening of their dine-in Brixton branch was a monumental cause for celebration”. (Timeout, 2023)

Three Uncles opened with a bang in Brixton Village March 2022 and the restaurant features our core menu of Chinese roasted meats, or known in Cantonese as ‘Siu Mei’, which includes the famous trio of roast duck, char siu pork and crispy pork belly.

Our Brixton location is our first sit-down, table service restaurant with seats for 35 people and is located 5 minutes from Brixton Tube Station.

BRIXTON VILLAGE SPECIAL DISHES

We have several special dishes exclusive to Brixton such as Roast Duck Lai Fan - a Hong Kong specialty noodle soup made with thick and satisfyingly chewy rice noodles, topped with our roast duck, char siu and pak choi. The soup really puts our discarded duck bones to good use, as the bones are simmered for hours to create a herbal, flavourful and nourishing broth. Ideal for slurping on cold winter nights!

Other specials include the majestic Three Treasures Platter – a large format sharing plate topped with our mouthewatering duck, char siu and crispy pork. As well as a two brand new vegetarian specials; Mushroom Mapo Tofu (v) and Salt & Pepper Broccoli (v).

Finally, congratulations to all Timeout nominated restaurants, we are humbled to be part of such a diverse and thriving Chinese restaurant scene in London. We also want to acknowledge our team of chefs who work tirelessly behind the scenes who ensure that everything is prepared with care in the traditional time-honoured way. Looking ahead, we are dedicated to preserving these traditions and dining experiences for all our guests.Photography featured in article by www.jennifercauli.com
